The OUSC intramural program involves more than 70 youth teams of boys and girls, ages 4 to 9. Both the boys program and girls programs play on Saturdays. Make up games may be scheduled on a Sunday at the discretion of the program and based on the amount of play missed due to inclement weather.

Our Rec program is alternative to our travel program. These teams play against teams from other local youth soccer programs. These games can be played on both Saturdays and Sundays.

Munchkin

The Munchkin program will resume on Saturday April 18th at 9 am at Boardman Middle School fields (the big schoolyard on the right just before you get to Oceanside Park).  The sessions will be on the grass field located inside the track, not on turf.  Each session will last one hour, and they will run on consecutive Saturdays, with the exception of May 23rd (Memorial Day weekend) and concluding on June 13th, which will also be our intramural festival day at the fields.

Peewee

The Pee Wee program will resume this Spring, with a slight change from the Fall.  In addition to the Saturday sessions the Pee Wees will now have a weekly training session with our professional trainers. The training will begin on Monday, March 30th, and will be at 6 pm (for both boys and girls)  at Merle Avenue (School 6) on the field inside the track.  These one hour sessions will continue for 10 weeks, with no training at all the week of April 6th and the session scheduled for Monday May 25th (Memorial Day) being held on Friday, May 29th instead.

Intramural Program

OUSC's u9 (2011 birth year players) will start the Spring season with free training sessions as follows: Sunday March 15th, boys 9-1030, girls 1030-12, at Boardman Middle School grass field.  There will be another session on Sunday, March 22nd, when the boys go from 9-10 and the girls from 10-11, also at Boardman.

Following those sessions  the weeknight training will begin the week of March 30th.  Training will be on Tuesday from 7-8 for the boys, and Thursday from 6-7 for the girls.  All weeknight sessions will be held at Merle Avenue (school 6) and will run each week thru June 12th EXCLUDING THE WEEK OF APRIL 6th - THERE IS NO TRAINING THAT WEEK.

U9 player uniforms will be given out at the weeknight training sessions at the end of March.  League schedules will be provided to everyone by March 23rd; the first games will be the weekend of April 4th.  The u9 division will be using a "pool play" system, where teams will be made for the initial half of the season, after which players will be rotated/mixed through teams for the second half of the season.  Initial team assignments will be provided at the time the schedules are, so everyone can plan through early May; the revised teams will be announced at least two weeks prior to the game they will take effect to allow time to plan for that day and the balance of the season.

As a reminder, all games will be coached by OUSC's professional trainers.  We look forward to seeing you all at the fields.

Finally, for those interested in additional training, the u9 group (both boys and girls) is being offered a Wednesday session from 6-7 pm.  The cost for that session, which will also run for 10 weeks, will be $110, and the program will only be offered in the event there is sufficient interest/registration.  The link to register should be open later this afternoon at www.ousc.com.
