1. Deliver your child to practices on time with an inflated soccer ball and enough liquids (water or sports drink) for the session.
  2. Make positive comments on the sidelines.
  3. Communicate with the coach privately, not on the field.
  4. Don’t shout instructions to your child or other players during the game.
  5. Call the coach if your child is going to miss a game or practice.
  6. Don’t allow sleep-overs or late movies the night before a game.
  7. Focus on effort, not winning.
  8. Support the Coach, especially regarding lineup choices and discipline.
  9. Feed the kids a light snack before games and practices.
  10. Write the coach a thank you note, or have your child write one.
