The OUSC intramural program involves more than 70 youth teams of boys and girls, ages 4 to 8. Both the boys program and girls programs play on Saturdays. Make-up games may be scheduled on a Sunday at the discretion of the program and based on the amount of play missed due to inclement weather.
IMPORTANT NOTES FOR INTRAMURAL PLAYERS:
All players should arrive no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time
All u6-u8 players must wear their blue/white reversible uniforms
At start time, trainers will see how many players are there from the two color squads and from that number make balanced teams for the day’s match
Trainers will be on the field with players during the matches
Parents must all be on one side of the field, please watch/cheer the children on but do not give them direction/instruction – that is the trainers' job, and they are working on various skills and strategies during the match, not just trying to move the ball up the field quickly and score
In the event of inclement weather, we will email/blast out to all by 8 am on Saturdays and 4 pm on weekdays. If you do not receive such a notification, the events are on as scheduled, please do not email inquiring, we do play in rain/cold.
